  • 25 British pounds

Description

Kirtan - the Yoga of Sound with Catarina Saturday 11th May 2024 | 14:30 - 16:00 Kirtan is an accessible form of meditation by surrendering to sound and connecting inwards, feeling our own vibration. The word Kirtan means to praise or sing the name of the universal/divine principle of your own understanding. It is not a religious practice, and it welcomes all! This session is about coming together in community through our voice, where multiple voices become one. It is not about being a singer or singing in tune, but about Union. The Yoga of sound. It is time to release and express what’s been suppressed, letting go of fear and finding freedom and strength together through our voices. We will be chanting Mantras in Sanskrit accompanied by an Indian Harmonium, a Soprano Saxophone and a Djembe, followed by a relaxing Soundbath at the end.
