Iyengar yoga’s aim is to develop mindful attention and integration between the body and the mind. It focuses on the detailed alignment of the body through the practice of a wide variety of asanas. The teaching is methodical and progressive. When necessary, it uses yoga props such as blocks, belts, blankets etc that allow students to progress at their own pace, to suit their body. Classes are taught by Judy, a highly experienced Iyengar yoga teacher who adapt her classes for all levels.
