Guy discovered yoga in 2005 whilst suffering from back pain, and after trying many different kinds of therapy found Iyengar Yoga and noticed an instant improvement in his health. Inspired to learn more, he travelled to India in 2007 to study with senior Iyengar Yoga teachers Rajiv and Swati Chanchani and spent 2 years there as their student.

 

He is deeply grateful to his teacher Alaric who has guided him through his practice and teaching over the past 10 years. In 2013, he completed his Introductory Teacher Training, and in 2018 gained his Junior Intermediate level 1 certificate.

 

With a background is in Education and the Arts, Guy’s passion for education and learning influence his yoga practice. His teaching style is based on clear, simple instruction and the belief that yoga can be accessed by anyone and everyone. He enjoys working hard and strives for a better understanding amongst his students.
